Jing Ju - Beijing Opera

Last Monday was my darling boyfriend's birthday and I brought him to the Beijing Opera. It was one of the most amazing spectacles we have ever seen. The stage was full of colors and the sound was unlike anything we had heard before. It didn't matter in the least that we didn't understand a word. We didn't know what to expect and after a 3 hour show that felt like 40 minutes, we were more than pleasantly surprised.

El lunes pasado fue el cumpleaños de mi querido novio, y le lleve a la ópera de Pekín. Fue uno de los espectáculos mas increíbles que hemos visto. El escenario estaba lleno de colores y nunca hemos oído algo igual. Obviamente no entendíamos nada pero nos daba totalmente igual. Estábamos encantados con todo. Como dijo Tono... "Wow, la bomba!! No puede ser que hayan sido 3 horas!! Parece que duró 40 minutos!! Fue increiiiiiiible!!"
